Hm: The set has a very nice, detailed story, which I enjoyed. And the story really sounded like it was well-thought out. The clothes are rather unique in design, and pretty well drawn. The pose for the base doll is very interesting, as well, and gives her sort of a flirty look, which goes well with the character from what I read. The little brick

i haven't seen this particular set, but i seem to recall that the thick black outlines and flat bright colors actually were Mariye's (very pop) style. it didn't look like an error ar a laziness, but more a very coherent choice. i seem to remember thinking it mostly worked, too
