More good news - we didn't pass any of Ahnuld's propositions. The only one that put me into a tizzy was the parental notification before a minor could have an abortion prop.

The idiot got elected by moderates pissed offat Grey Davis and is now pushing farther to the right - not going to fly in CA right now.

Clearly! I also felt that Arnie's election was entirely reactionary, as well as a reflection of the "celebrity politician" model we seem to be moving towards. *sigh* "Oh, I'm too dumb to read up on the issues, but I recognize that guy! I'll vote for him!"

Anyway, I was really glad from what I read that ALL the props got slammed. The abortion one made me livid too...I can't believe the conservative slide we seem to be slipping down! Must remember..."This too shall pass. This too shall pass."

I just hope it's soon, before more permanent damage is done. :-/
