Beginning Christmas Event

[It had not been a pleasant sensation, discovering the lack of electricity or running water in her house. Still, it was not as bad as the other events she had experienced. Her house, however cold it got, is still standing. The snow is not bad enough to block up the doorway. Better yet, there seems to be no trace of toxic substances or revenants.]

Am I not allowed to check up on my allies, Tohsaka?

[Still, Tohsaka's reaction is understandable. The girl is also preparing for the worst case scenario. Given the situation, this paranoia is not unfounded.]

Do you have adequate supplies, Tohsaka? Given how they are speaking of Christmas, I expect this power outage to last at least until the 25th. Perhaps they will do this the Catholic way and persist until Epiphany.

[Bazett feels only a little strange as she enters into the house. Though she has lost her magic circuits, years of dealing with magical constructs have made her better at noticing them than an average human. Besides, taking into consideration Tohsaka's personality and magical ability, it makes sense that Tohsaka would set up bounded fields around her house.]

I'm guessing you have bounded fields around your house, Tohsaka?

I also hope that this is as bad as it will get. However, last time, there were cannibals on top of a nuclear apocalypse. I doubt this situation will be different.

Do you have any way to contact your Servants? I know Archer lives in the same house as you, but what of Lancer?

[Hey look, it's Gat! He's been scouting out the tree as well when he notices Bazett hanging around. He raises a hand in greeting.]

Howdy.

[Although he sounds personable enough, it sounds a little restrained.]

Oh. It's you.

Why is there such a huge Christmas tree? And why are there people camping around it?

I ain't sure. I reckon it's more of th' town's "mischief."

[You can just hear the airquotes in the way he says that word.]

Ever since that news broadcast from a few days ago I've been losin' my body every now an' then. It's been disconcertin'.

Losing your body? How can you do that?

[For some reason, she imagines the colossus as some sort of tiny mechanical ghost.]

But I think you are right--something strange is happening to the personal items in this town. Sometimes, after clearly remembering that I put them on, my earrings simply seem to not exist. When I reach up to feel for them, they are clearly still there.
