I'm going to comment on the last one first, because oh my god, that was wonderful. Everything from Takeyuki's grudging respect to his realization, however brief, that he isn't a good parent, yet his son is still trying to make him proud. ♥

The other four are cute, though the first one is a bit off-putting; not sure why. The second one is cute. ♥ Hikaru with black bangs would be so awkward. I love Akiko fic, just in general, so yay! And the fourth one is epic. Oh Yan Hai. You suffer so.

I think you've done a wonderful job on all of these of eliciting a vibrant sense of place, character, sensation, and feeling. Lovely description of Sai and Hikaru merging, as it were. Hikaru changing his bangs was hilarious, and nicely set up. The Kouyo and Akiko moment was beautiful, particularly the last line. Le Ping growing up is really endearing. The last one is a wee masterpiece. Lovely!!
