I love how bold and wrathful Ogata was here, pushing his resentment towards go until he meets Touya-meijin. The little tidbits that led to who he is now and how we recognize him are great. Wonderful job!

Lovely look at what lies behind Ogata's go. I like the way the fighting between his parents translates into the value of strategy and winning. And I love Touya Meijin's quiet enjoyment, Ogata's confusion, and how Ogata begins to finally get it at the end. I really enjoyed this.

I think this was perfect! I loved seeing some backstory for Ogata, and his meeting with Touya Kouyo was awesome ♥

Oh, I really like this back story! The beginning feels a lot more polished than the ending (ran out of time? :D), but it was still very well written. I particularly like the descriptions in this fic
