I have admit not really a fan of Mitani, but this fic had some really good insight into Mitani. He's growth and interaction with the other Haze go club members was very well done.
This. Is. AWESOME. NO one writes Mitani. And those who do toss him to the side or get him completely wrong. This? Perfect. Completely unlike the other submissions, as well. I was completely enchanted. Props to you for taking on something like this!
Reading this makes me very happy. It's almost like straight from the series ... the way it uses igo as the basis in how everyone is challenged and how everyone changes their lives. I always felt bad for Mitani ... he was sorta given the fuzzy end of the lollipop. A lot of this is from his own attitude, as you quite accurately portrayed, but I do like how he comes out in the end in your fic.
And seeing Kaneko is awesome as well. Thank you for giving such love the characters who are so often skipped over. I enjoyed this muchly!
