So much adoration and love for you. I adore the parallels between go and sword-fighting, and ohmygod, I love your Waya and your Hikaru.

a perfectly imagined and realized a.u. you sharpened certain aspects of the characters to make them fit in this universe - sai's warrior mentality, akira's honor and dignity, hikaru's willingness to just drift along, waya's resentment at being passed so easily, etc. these are the characters we know, but their world is a harsher one, and the stakes are higher than simply losing a go game - the danger is real. the way you parallel key scenes of the manga is also very well-planned, in particular, how hikaru actually allows sai to control his body (he was so scared of that in canon).

i can't wait to see the next installment.
