What can I say? This pairing is rare, but I've loved it secretly (*giggles* well, that's a lie [being a secret, I mean]) for a long time. Most of all, you managed to blend very well the AU and crossover elements, also your Hisoka was well-written. ♥
This was always a secret pairing of mine, though I could never figure out how it'd work... But you did it here so poignantly. Great use of the YnM characters, and Hisoka's empathy. Just. Love.
I only watched the anime of Yami no Matsuei, I'm glad I was able to understand the fic. This piece is very beautiful and I like it so, so much. I love how everyone was utterly IC; how Hisoka was the bearer of the feelings of everyone, making the pace of the story dynamic and interesting; how Sai was so completely-absolutely-totally adorable, and the happy ending, of course! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful. The Hisoka and Tsuzuki interaction = much love. (But I *am* a little freaked out by the seeming lack of Hikaru in this universe...how will Akira deal with his father's death, I wonder...)
And, um. I think that when I first thought of this crossover, I HAD thought of a way to have Hikaru - I think in this his grandfather was a better Go player than in the series, and so Hikaru knew how to play but nothing big, but he takes a bigger interest when his grandfather dies? AGH, should've written it - but then the most awful muse-blocking and being unable to write until it was three days before deadline made it so that I had to focuse on what I really wanted to write, which was Touya Meijin and Sai.
