I am in love with your use of language, holy fuck. And this is wonderful in the depiction of how Shindou and Touya are inextricably tied.

Wow, this is great. I particularly like the last lines, and I liked this one the most: "when he plays Shindou it is another type of game entirely, one that seems new, even the feel of the stones feels different than when it is against someone else"

THis is awesome. I love (I seem to be using that word tonight, but there are so many talented authors here!) the point of view from Akira and how it's true, Hikaru's defined by his secrets, he can seem open at first but he's also weird, unusual and mysterious.
