Background: Last week at Ichabod's I ran into this girl, Becky that used to work with my mom. She is really cute, 28, college grad, stable career, very well read, and very abstractly intelligent. I had talked to her before at my mom's work and when I ran into my mom and her at the Bayou getting drunk. I have been totally curious about her for a ( Read more... )

Do you have something against Advanced Dungeons & Dragons? anonymous January 15 2002, 15:44:05 UTC
What about people who PLAY ninjas in Advanced Dungeons & Dragons? 'Cause my rogue is gonna try to be a Ninja of the Crescent Moon as soon as she hits 9th level. Anyway, dis be Jason's bitch. We been laying low, not going nowheres, tryin to become functioning members of society again, and shit like dat. Alisha said that you used to play that with her and Kevin? Or was that a different Jared? If it was you, wanna play sometime? J and I tried to play with Alisha last Saturday night but she got us drunk and convinced us to take her to the Bayou, where she ditched us to hang out with Sayward's boyfriend and some James McNeil guy at 1 in the morning. So anyway, I guess she don't like world domination!!!! Whateva. Biyatch ( ... )

P.P.P.P.S. Oops. I left out an important detail. Right in between "shit like dat" and "Alisha said you used to play that, or was that a different Jared," it was supposed to say "Playing board games like Risk and watching Sifl-n-Olly." So like I was asking if you used to play RISK with Alisha and Kevin not D&D. OK. Now that that's clear.
P.^5 S. That sucks about that girl. She sounds crazy. Crazy girls are bad news. I vote staydafukaway. Latah!

Nah, it's just a funny generality. Just like saying that most of the hardcore AD&D players are now computer programmers now. :) Anyway, I think that was the other Jared. He used to be good friends with Kev and maybe he graduated in our class. I saw something about AlisHa wanting my email address, I'm not sure. I never heard from her, though. Just a phone call that I wasn't home for. Other than having 4 years of high school and hanging out with her a couple of times with you guys, I've just seen Alisha around when she used to date/be friends with Mike. Speaking of which, I saw where she's calling Mike again.. Another count-down till disaster.

Also.. Jason M, Jen, and Alisa used to play AD&D. I think it was an acceptable thing to do over at McKinley and other magnet high schools. Not such a weird thing, like it was at Central. Not that it mattered to me. The game just seemed kinda boring and kooky. You fuckers should call more often.. I'm down with Sifl n Ollie and almost anything else.

we looked and looked but didn't see you there . . . anonymous January 19 2002, 06:24:47 UTC
God, I'm cheese.

Looks like somebody was too "balls out" to show up--and that Somebody was you, Mister. That is, unless you showed up after Liquidrone, just to see The Myrtles. Me and Jason left before they started playing because Liquidrone was so awesome and somebody said The Myrtles sounded like The Gin Blossoms and we didn't want the night to end on a bad note.

Anyway, it's cool, you warned me the seat of your pants might fly you elsewhere. Next time I invite you somewhere, I'll be like do you want to go Here Now. Be prepared. *Oh, The Anticipation------Quiver, Quiver*

Your roommate showed up. I said, He said he didn't know about the show. He said, I thought he knew.
