You always write the most beautiful things. I really, really liked this, perhaps because I have a soft spot for far-in-the-future-fics with half of everyone dead and the other half of everyone long past picking up the pieces and more so living with the pieces.

The emotion hear was really raw, really believable, really human. I teared up through so much of it, aww.

This was really wonderful. ♥

(PS: I don't think you made Gokudera too nostalgic.)

You know, I like those 40YL! or 50YL! fics too. Less characters to talk about There's just something about these people who were once alone, or in different groups, and then growing old and becoming lonely again...that cycle really hits me hard. Because...because that's going to be me, someday.

*hug* I'm glad you liked it. I had fun writing it, as mournful as I was writing it.

i think you might be my favorite writer for this fandom ;u;
your 8059 stories are absolutely beautiful and the way you write squalo is so new but true to character.
this fic was undeniably sad and i don't think you made gokudera too nostalgic at all. i can see this happening, really.

i very much enjoyed reading this fic. thank you for sharing it <333

Wow, high praise...*is very embarrassed*

I pretty much only write 8059 and gen these days. Squalo I thought was too soft...but he's also old here, so I figured it was believable? Gokudera too...he's lost his edges, they both have, due to the things they've lost...

*bows* Thank you for reading~

Seconding the agreement on favorite writer in the fandom here. Especially for 8059, I lost track of how many times I've been back here to reread all your ficcage.

It wasn't so much Yamamoto's sword but the changes and the whole smile thing and how the younger generation doesn't even know that really did me in. s-sob

Whaaaa?! - I mean, I'm honored to be so highly thought by someone *I* read regularly.

Hmm...the "younger generation doesn't know" thing is...personal, kind of. I always feel that I can never fully understand my grandmother's times and troubles, or even my own mother's times and troubles. Though they can tell you some things, most of their journey is lost along the way, even more so when children don't ask. That sense of being left behind as the times move past you rather than with you...is something I feel everybody has to go through, yet nobody wants to.

I'm so sorry I went philosophical on you. T-thank you for reading!

hi! we are strangers, but i wanted you to know i really loved this fic. gosh i don't know where to start. i loved everything about it really. the sheer accumulated weight of gokudera's weathered grief and the fresh shock of squalo's newly acquired grief and the way so much of it was just in the way they stood or spaced out or just talked to each other. i really really really love how you played out the whole scenario with gokudera reliving what he felt (losing a loved one) via squalo going through the same thing. fffff sorry, coherency impossible, give me another half hour or so

:D I had hoped the juxtaposition of Gokudera and Squalo's grief would make their relationships keener, and give the sense of it being mirrored yet not really. The core of it, though, is borne of the idea of never letting go despite space and time.

Thanks for stopping by~
