Title: A love so bright it blinds, for you (Me ga Kuramu Hodo Ai wo, Kimi ni)
Circle: tsubame
Pairing: AoKise, Ao + Kuro
Rating: NC-17
Pages: 97
Notes: this girl does angst pretty well (I mean, all of those...common angst misunderstandings). She also draws very fail umbrellas.

So this one is reeeeeally long. And I mean LONG. It's also AU - Kise goes to Touou instead of Kaijou - thus Kasamatsu & gang appear nowhere in this manga. Things proceed as usual, though - Touou wins the first Touou vs. Seirin match, and loses the second. The entire time, Aomine and Kise are 'going out' (read: friends with benefits), and Kise angsts about whether or not they're 'going out' or going out as in this is going somewhere with happy rainbows and kittens.

Aomine, of course, is oblivious. In fact, once he gets to see Kuroko again, he's glad to start talking to him again. Since Kuroko then takes shooting lessons from him, they meet more often and thus Kise becomes even more depressed. Kagami is similarly oblivious, until one day Kise can't stand it anymore (though Aomine told him straight-up to his face that everything is hunky-dory) and catches a cold by standing out in the rain. Kagami finds him in the park and takes him home, which is when Aomine is contacted and him and Kise make up in...well, quite the way you'd expect.

The art isn't perfect. I really only bought this because a) it's AU (and why is the "Kise going to Touou" thing so popular right now?! This is like, the 4th or 5th book I've seen...), and b) it was a good price for the length. The characters are a bit...yeah...in some panels but it's not so bad that it makes you want to tear your hair out. Hmm...so I guess that would make it average-ish in terms of layout and art...

Still interested? Here on Mediafire: Part 1 and Part 2. Enjoy, and tell me if the dls don't work, etc.
