So, our bathtub faucet has been leaking for two weeks. two weeks ago, i told our realty company (clay and edward) that it was happening. Last friday, when i took in rent checks, i left a message with the receptionist (who is about 15 years old) about the increasingly leaky faucet. the leak turned into a waterfall. a HOT scalding waterfall. i

that just made me feel sick. they WILL pay that water bill. or we threaten. my house is making andy sick (cat even though he is being boarded). I feel bad but i told him ahead of time. man, 30 dollars a day? shit dawgy.

so, rick, the guy they sent to fix the bathroom is the funniest guy i've ever met. he and his "assistant" matt were here for four hours this morning fixing the faucet. (everything works now). he (rick) breeds pitbull/boxer mixes and trains them to be aide dogs to the disabled. he brought one of these dogs to the house this morning ("Buddy"). buddy promptly came into the house and slept on the futon. that dog was HUGE. rick's a diabetic, so at one point, he asked if we had any chocolate that he could have. he asked if the dog could have some water. he sat on the futon and told funny stories and occasionally paused to yell at matt. y'all - this guy is hilarious. more than that, he started looking around the house at maintenance problems and is coming back monday to look at leaks and rotting wood and floorboards, etc. he also said he was going to tell edward "what's up." yay rick
