So, I've finally gotten around to decorating my dorm room. As it turns out, the number of posters is kind of... inadequate. Also, from old, old fandoms. Three out of five are from Naruto.

Anybody know where I can acquire posters?

WHEN IN DOUBT

BLASTIA YURI'S ASS RISTELLE INTERNET.

I'm sure you can find a good fandom merch site 'round these parts somewhere. And keep an eye out on fandom comms for other people selling goods? Maybe something poster-y in the mix there.

YEAH PROBABLY

I will keep an eye out- crossing my fingers for something to pop up on Nabari No Ou's comm.

...but I draw the line at Kuroshitsuji posters. A man has to keep his dignity.

I do, it's an indie one, but I also don't have a car so I can't actually go to it most days. (It is the best: they have reasonably priced PSX games and things from even before then, and had the 2-disc version of Subsistence right up until I had enough money to buy it. It's worth a look.)

No local poster shop as far as I know.

If you have paypal or a credit card I believe Anime Castle and the RightStuf online stores still stock posters and wall scrolls.

Personally I've gone the other route, smaller art. One of my apartment walls is covered in postcards from places I've been or reprints of paintings I've seen in person at art exhibitions - and a lot of original postcard art from doujinshi and craft conventions. With a little colorless sticky tack they go up and come down easy so I can rotate the collection and the spacing when I choose.

If there are no postcards you want to buy what you can do is save files of art you like on a flashdrive and get them printed out at those "print your digital photo" kiosks. Make sure you save and crop them at the right scale! :D

Oh, damn, that's a good idea! Small art definitely works- I just need to find somewhere to get the printing done.

I'm not in the US right now, but from what I recall most Wal-Marts and major drugstore chains (Rite-Aid, Eckered, etc) had those printing kiosks as of two years ago. My mother says they are even more prevalent now.

What I would suggest is that if getting off campus is hard for you, call local stores before hand (you use a yahoo search for your location and retailers) and ask if they have such a kiosk. It saves you time when you beg for a ride to the stores. Happy hunting!
