I was busting up laughing in Earth Minerals and my lab partner couldnt understand why. Lets see if you can:

Scene: There are about 8 students in the room and 1 TA. There are 4 girls and 4 guys and the TA is a guy. The girls sit on the right side of the room while the boys sit on the left side. I don't know why, maybe nature just seperates us? Anyway ( Read more... )

When I was in sixth grade, we did a unit on geology--or as we called it, the rock chapter. Our teacher was passing around some samples of different types of rocks. She's in the middle of an explanation when a girl piped up with, "Hey! This rock smells like chocolate!" So of course then we had to pass it around again so everyone could smell it. It actually did smell like chocolate, too. Go figure. Yay for fun times studying rocks, WHEE!!
