I first learned this trick a few years ago in a comment on svilleficrecs journal, and it's been an awesome time saver ever since. Call it the "how to format a fic for posting in less than 30 seconds no matter the story length or amount of formatting" trick.

I just tried it on a bigbang fic, and it worked like a charm! You've saved me a good ten minutes worth of work, five minutes worth of post-upload editing, and no amount of frustration.

And that's just one fic! I foresee this saving me WEEKS of my life!
