I dislike it in hindsite for reasons that are more to do with Essex and the ex-boyfriend than Beckham and aesthetics. I still prefer it long to shaved though...

... and I hate how possible it is to spend far to long thinking about it.

I did come very close to loving Arsenal when they suddenly went pretty and interesting.

.. and I totally second you on Becks. He looked awful in those early days. Ah, it was such fun watching him change though. Shame it all went wrong...

See, I was always kinda proud of the fact that I loved them when they were ugly, rubbish and boring... even though I'm glad that these days they're even prettier and more interesting still (Cesc, Flamini, Van Persie etc)
