I'm commenting to let you know that I've signed the Petition Online and Leonard Cheshire Disability petitions.

I was at a library cuts meeting last night and the rhetoric was very much that of unity - refusing to be drawn into "if not that cut, then which cut?", but standing together across all the ways this government wants to destroy us.

When I get the mental energy together to write up that event (I hope, over the weekend) I will give prominence to these issues. I'm so sorry that I can't do more than that right now.

I would be at the protest, but I do not think I can cope with the travelling (and as Laura reminds me, I've made a clashing medical appointment now).

If anyone is able to go except for financial reasons, I could contribute towards travel costs?
