My internship is over, I got an emaciated pay check, I blew half of my bank account balance on parting gifts, and I'm immensely sad that it's over.

I can't put into words how valuable the entire experience was to me. I gave cards to my LA-in-charge and the partner but I had a difficult time writing what I really felt because I could not describe it ( Read more... )

And yet, I didn't do anything at all today. We went to court in the morning where I sat in the courtroom with the client and his wife-to-be, while the lawyers talked to the judge in chambers. I should've been in chambers, right? They didn't ask me to go, boo hoo.
