Sometimes, as I stoop to pick up a coin or other goody I've spotted on the floor, I wonder, for a split second, if maybe it isn't a trap, like in a cartoon or Indiana Jones. Even in my own apartment.

It never is.

In other news, my walk across the country is tentatively scheduled for spring 2008.
