What school makes you undergo a freaking FBI check?

The Family and Human Services program does. If you have, say, assault in your background, they don't want you interning at child welfare.

I still think that should be done in order to get the internship position or for job applications. Not for something as broad as an entire course.

Eh. Doesn't bother me. I think it's sensible, giving the people that have sneaked into, oh, the teaching profession.
