tonight i found out that my dad won't be coming to the grad show opening. he has to coach a bowling event for the ten year old kids he's taking to bowling nationals. he won't cancel it or get someone else to host it. he just keeps saying he can't come

okay, you can totally make it to capilano in an hour from where you are, maybe faster. just head down to main and cordova and catch the 210, 211, anything going to north van. when you get to phibbs exchange [the bus loop in north van] get off and hop on the 239 to capilano college. the college is obviously the last stop and there will be large blue signs directing you to the gallery! i hope you can come, i'd love to seeeee you!

the thing is my dad is so rad and one of the only family members of mine that has fully supported my art making. so it sucks really but he won't be there. brutal. a lot of friends are coming though so it will still be uber sweet.
