I've decided i really really really want to join the mafia. Maybe its the fact that ive been watching too much of the sopranos lately, but if i get the opportunity to join...definitely taking up the offer. I need a cool italian name though. I was thinking Vito Corleone, but i heard that ones been used. Oh well, im sure ill think of something.

It doesn't matter. He hasn't been involved in 40 some odd years. Everyone just owes him favors now. It's not so much mafia as it is the unions. My great grandfather, however, the man I am named for, was a very prominent figure in the rum running trade.
My grandpa Marty came into my 11th grade American History class to give a speech on prohibition, his father the rum runner, and organized crime as an institution in this country.
