Hey, could you put the video beneath a cut, please? It's awesome, but it's also auto-playing, which soaks up bandwidth.

Thanks!

video was lovely.

i was sad about that borders closing. :( i'd have wanted to buy lots of things, so it's a good thing i'm nowhere near there given my budget.

also, like you, i find it hard to read when i'm writing. and one thing that has become horribly apparent during my clutter-removing efforts is how many books i've bought and not read. seriously, they are now all piled together on top of this one bookcase, and there are easily two dozen books there. so i can't buy anymore until i read these.

it breaks my heart. it's so close to my work! i go in there all. the. time. even if just to wander and browse. so frustrating. :(

uggggh, the plight of un-read books. geez. here's to getting through them. *hugs you just because*

One of our Border's closed last Sunday. It was sad (Border's is A2 based so locally it's a pretty big deal). I didn't realize THAT store was going to close SO quickly. I figured we'd be about at the 40% stage by now and so decided to go check it out but instead it was the very last day. There were only two tables of books left - 90% off or 4/$5; many of the floor-to-ceiling shelving had been purchased already, making the store look pretty desolate; the desks that were left were piled in a corner for $20 or so; and there was even a copy machine that said "Buy me. I'm only $10." I was really shocked that they moved so fast on closing one of the A2 branches since Borders started here. The flagship store is staying open but ~shrug~ I really liked this other location better ( ... )

Aw man. That is totally sad. :( I don't want to see my poor little store end up that way, even though it will. *sigh*

(of course Sarah Palin's book was left, lol)

I feel totally under read when I compared with my F-list so don't feel bad...I haven't read anything that wasn't a textbook in ages because I feel like I don' have the time...I NEED a copy of "Love in the Time of Cholera" though as well as the "Melancholy Whores" book (can't remember entire title lol...
