(RA means resident assistant. In US colleges, especially private ones, they're always an older student who's paid to keep order in your hall or dorm. Like, if you have a naked, yoga-doing exhibitionist roommate who wants to keep all the lights on when everyone's trying to sleep, the RA handles that... not that I know that from experience, or anything... o_o )
