I sincerely doubt that anyone who reads my journal would fall prey to this kind of scam, but it's always a good idea to be reminded to NOT donate to any organization that you are not familiar with unless you can find good information about them. Personally, if I can scrounge out a little extra cash out of the paycheck coming tomorrow, I think I'm going directly for Red Cross. They've been busting their asses trying to help out in most of the pictures I've seen and I'm more than willing to throw them a few bucks just for their first-on-the-scene efforts.
