It's been a while! I've been online, but updating Twitter/Facebook way more often. It's the lure of 140 characters, yo.

I dropped coltsbane off at the airport this morning so it's terribly quiet in my apartment. Chavez is very confused. She is one odd cat. Chavez. Not coltsbane . Really.

OMG I KNOW. And yet I still cried and cried when I read it and ARGH.

So I've been dissing the movie for a while and finally renting it for $1 a Redbox seemed like a good idea.

OMG yes! But I read Lucky first and so was ready for it since I knew she was pretty much working through her own horrific experiences with stranger rape. So I was a bit less thinking of it as emotionally manipulative and a bit more - sensical.

Yeah, the book is better than the movie but then it doesn't have TDekker in it so...

The snow was fun! Also great and cold. Driving in Montreal before they decided to plow the foot of snow was less than fun, but eh.

It really was fun! We couldn't manage to get any other games into the trip - and we totally checked EVERY NHL, AHL, and OHL team whose city we drove within an hour of. It was just bad timing. But we're going to a Wings/Blackhawks game on December 23rd, and then to a Barrie Colts game in January. Probably a Griffins game too on the 26th (which reminds me I need to look into those tickets) so we'll have all three leagues covered. :D

Cool. I'm hoping to catch a Hounds game if possible while I'm home. They probably have a couple I would think.

Who are the Griffins and who are they affliated with?

Griffins are out of Grand Rapids - they're they AHL team affiliated with the Red Wings. (Makes it easy for call ups and such which we're getting a lot out of this year)
