When I stayed in my dorm for Thanksgiving break, some guy forgot to turn his alarm clock and left it running for four days. Luckily, it was a little further down the hall so I was able to block it out with my TV

Ah, yes. One thing I don't miss about living with the roommates. My roommate across the hallway from me would let his (very very loud) alarm go off for three hours.
