We caught the "conversation" at Saddleback as we woke to CNN on Sunday morning. More and more, I feel so comfortable with the way his mind works.

Ditto. I just wish more Americans were intelligent enough to understand nuance :P

Oh LOOK! He's a workin man. check out those shoes.
Pardon my sarcasm at all things political... really I mean it. I can't stand any of it and this pic is such a set up. :( Clearly I'm not voting again this election. suckfest.

Oh honey! I'm really curious about where you're coming from, because I (clearly) have a different view, but I've also been outside of the American inputs for awhile. I really want to hear more.

Oh no there's nothing big to hear. There's nobody to vote for this election for me and everyone's pumping out photos to portray the candidates at this or that and it's all very.....unreal. This one bothered me because it's trying to identify Obama as a regular working class joe with worn shoes and that sort of stuff is rather pointed despite the reality that nobody running for president is a working class joe OR something other than terribly rich. As an artist who's worked in marketing I get queasy about it all rather easily. That's all hun. :)

well the good news is that he's the least rich major presidential candidate in memory, and he's completely self-made. unlike mr. sugar-mama mccain.
