I too love Sheldon (totally asexual) and dislike Leonard greatly! I don't like that Leonard is not only ashamed of his own geekiness, but that he also is a piss poor physicist - he has, on a number of occasions, got basic mechanics WRONG, and he is the only character so far to do this.
I am a big supporter of the Sheldon & Penny friendship, and though I know that it would never go beyond that, I would like to see them a little more possessive of that friendship. Leonard and Penny are just wrong on way too many levels, and I don't even like their friendship anymore.
I know that a lot of the physics jokes are two-percenters, but the fact that the show still works for geeks of other types (media, comic book, etc...) says a lot about how well both the cast & crew do their job.

Good to see I'm not alone! And I'm glad to hear that, my friend and me had a big argument over whether Sheldon or Leonard is smarter and it's good to have some evidence to back me up!
I just love how Sheldon isn't gaga over her but obviously cares for her and the scene where she got him Nimoy's napkin was PERFECT. I would have given all the baskets + hug too.
Yay! They are too awesome. I know there is a bit of a fandom out there, I'm not that into it to participate but I am happy loving them on my own for the most part. I wish they'd been around at the same time for that but I certainly do like them.
