So I've made a few efforts to set up Tumblr and start using it but those have failed miserably. I am trying again though because I feel like fandom is moving there at least somewhat and I don't want to get left behind and feel old which is just weird to say at my age. Yay for you getting a tumblr! My username is jurassic-shark, but I mostly just reblog and lurk. I'm so excited for Escapade too, in case I haven't made that incredibly clear! Maybe if we have time at Escapade you can show me an episode or two of The LA Complex. What time are you getting there on Thursday?

Definitely! So you're definitely coming on Thursday then? If so, I should be at the hotel around...probably 1 am. Kind of late but I don't get out until 6 pm and it takes about 6 hours and a half to get there.

I have a tumblr, but tumblr seems to be full of idiots and assholes, so I don't use it. It's probably clayangel, though.

There's always going to be those people around platforms so I usually ignore it and focus on the good people when I can. But I get that it can hard to when people are particularly dumb.

I know, I know. And I have had good experiences with it, but the bad have far outweighed them, that's all. And that's not just with the users, but with customer support as well. All over, it's just been a generally negative force for me.

I don't really care for it as a communication platform, either. There's no way to have real conversations with people.

Yeah I had you on my old account. Ironically it's one of the reasons I've avoided it for fear of spoilers. But I've pretty much given up on that at this point.

I'm not insulting the city, I do like it. I'm just feeling resentful because it's not MY city and I miss LA a LOT.
