Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I'm so thankful for everyone on my Flist and in fandom, it's like a second home to me. Also thankful for living in the great city of Los Angeles, for my family and friends and the wonderful electronics (iPhone!!!) and car I have. It's just good to be alive and hopeful for the future. I forgot the fun of holidays where ( Read more... )

I don't know if you're looking for older stuff or even counting it in the list, but there are the classics: Friends, Cheers, Frasier, Seinfeld. I'm assuming you've seen most if not all of those, but they weren't on the list.

I've seen a good number of episodes of Friends but never in order so I should do that. I've seen a few episodes of Cheers and Frasier, probably will watch the whole series at some point. and I'm around S2/S3 for Seinfeld but sadly don't find it very funny although I probably will finish it at some point. Thanks though :)

Yeah, despite Seinfeld apparently being the ultimate Sitcom, it definitely wouldn't be my first choice. If anything, I say you should watch Friends from beginning to end. That one can frustrate you at times, but it never fails to be be funny and ultimately ends satisfyingly ( ... )

I'm watching Friends now and I'm a bit addicted. I'm surprised how much I love Chandler/Monica and Ross/Rachel not to mention Joey/Chandler. And it really is consistently funny.

I have heard about News Radio actually. And I should try Golden Girls at some point. Thanks!

It has a laugh track, but it also has CRAZY DELIGHT ALL OVER!, and the lovely adorable Chris O'Dowd: The IT Crowd. :D I don't know if you've got Netflix, but if you do, instant streaming has all the episodes. Also -- MIRANDA. Oh, God, Miranda! It is a feat of such joy! Basically: British sitcoms ftw. If you want to go a little old school, Coupling is also excellent -- it has always reminded me of, like, a British HIMYM.

Also, if you can find it, I continue to be surprised by how much I enjoyed ABC Family's 10 Things I Hate About You. It was super cute!

I have heard about The IT Crowd and Chris Dowd definitely helps make me want to check it out. And yeah, I saw the first ep of Miranda, just never followed up. Coupling is Steve Moffat who I HATE but I'll check it out at some point. I love the movie 10 Things I hate about you so I always did plan on checking that show out, just never did.

Thanks! Knew I could count on you ;)
