Vidding SOS

So it's been a long couple of days. I'm trying to get Premiere working again and I keep running into roadblocks. I tried to fix Windows 7 (failed), reinstalled it with much trouble, forgot my copy of CS4 so had to get a new one, had trouble installing that, had trouble getting avisynth files into Premiere and now...I can't get them to play

Have you tried using MPEG Streamclip instead of Virtual Dub for the clips? I had to revert to using it for my 'King's Speech' vid and it worked okay for me. *hugs*

I know there's other options like that...I just really like the high quality of avisynth. It kind of kills my motivation to not do it like that *sigh* I need to try to figure it out though and I could do it as a last resort.

I don't use Premiere so I don't know how to help but I have lots of sympathy! And hugs. *hugs* Torture by technology woes is the worst.

Are you running Premiere Pro CS4 on Windows 7?! That's what I've got too, we should have a vidding party sometime. :) But man I know what you mean, it took me a week of troubleshooting before I could even get anything on my timeline. -__-

Haha yes! I need to setup a socal vidding meeting actually. I need to try again because I keep getting new vid ideas.
