Oh, Ash, it's beautiful watching you grow as a person! I can see how the decision to take next semester off has taken a big weight off your shoulders. You also sound so much more hopeful and excited to strike it out on your own and I want you to know that I support you in this endeavor. Society thinks the whole gotta go to college & get a degree path is the only & the right path to take but there are many different ways to get to where you want.

Yeah when I decided to do it, it was so freeing and I was so much less anxious about things. I really am excited, I know it's going to be hard but I don't want to waste my time so I'm willing to put in the work. And learning that lesson about society was just so huge to me.
