I am finally done with finals! By this afternoon, I'll be on a train home for two weeks to enjoy the holidays and the company of my family--of whom I've seen only three days out of 100+. I'm excited, but it's also embarrassing how sad I am to leave the little bubble of my dorm. I always experience this feeling where if I go home, I feel like

yay for being done with finals! I feel the same way about going home though, especially since my parents are kind of strict-ish. It's like what happened to staying out with my friends til 4 in the morning goofing off? Where are all these rules coming from again?

I'm totally with you! My parents are the same way, which is why it's so frustrating. I'm anticipating being in bed by midnight tonight which will probably be the earliest I've been to bed since September. :/

Yay for Home! I know what you mean about feeling all weirdly seperated from your dorm while you're Home, though. This displacement thing in college is impossible to catch up with.

She totally surprised me, she thought I'd figured it out but I had no clue so she wrapped up the tickets in this huge box and it looked so silly when there was only an envelope inside XD
