It's time to round up the things I've gotten into since last I spoke with Livejournal. This is going to involve some hardcore rambling.

The big one is A Song of Ice and Fire.

I suspect that the people who are really interested in Amber -- and by this, I am willing to show my bias by saying "the people who are really interested in the first five books of Amber" -- are less interested in Corwin himself than they are in the family and its interrelationships as a whole. You've seen the family meeting in the library, but there's a lot of interesting stuff in the fourth and fifth books.

Yeah, that makes sense to me. The family as a whole is definitely intriguing. (Skimming some of the stuff leading up to where I left off, I think Random may have been becoming my favorite.)
