<.< yeah that always bothered me, especially when the Yun Kouga comic came out and the fandom squee-ed over Lyle helping Feldt with her barrette... just wanted to vomit myself.

I like Auron/Lulu a wee bit too; Auron/Rikku is just...ugh. And Wakka/Lulu? Yes, marry the brother of your first love.

So much in agreement about Auron/Rikku. I was fairly shocked when I joined FFX fandom years ago and it was somehow close to being the dominant pairing in the fandom. I mean...not only did they barely interact at all, but their personalities didn't even theoretically fit well together. It kind of reeked of shoving the leftovers together to me, and I couldn't understand its popularity.

Agreed that I don't see Auron paired with anyone. Then again, I'm not a huge shipper for FFX at all; even though I'm usually a huge shipper I'm ironically more into the gen for this game.
