I have acquired the first season of True Blood. After I finish Mai-HiME, that will be my next watching project.

I am up through episode 18 of Mai-HiME. Current status: my favorites are Midori (by far) and Takumi (surprise! Well, not such a surprise considering the stuff he admits in episode 17, but it was a surprise to me, at least). I am shipping ( Read more... )

I couldn't go past the first episode of True Blood. Not with the dramatic slow takes of Bill walking across the bar, Bill pulling back a chair, Bill sitting in said chair, Sookie staring into Bill's eyes....... GAG.

Hahaha True Blood is amazing. I adore Jessica (EVERY ONE OF MU ICONS) but she's only near the end of the season. She's in season 2 a lot though.

I do not know Mai-HiME, Ga-Rei Zero, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, Terra e, or Mai-Otome...but I am all caught up with True Blood, Nurse Jackie, and Full Metal Panic. *lol* I very much enjoyed them.

Full Metal Panic is funny and awesome all around, Nurse Jackie is...hmm. Hard to explain. I like it but it also angers me. You'll see, I suppose. And True Blood has lots to enjoy and dislike...actually, I'm going to stop because I am really interested to get some feedback on what you think. :)

I really want to get into the ones you mentioned now. *lol*

I personally did not like Mai Otome as much as Mai HiME. There's a lot more fanservice for fanservice sake and I didn't enjoy the story as much. It was still neat, but not one of my favorites.

I'm a big fan of Lyrical Nanoha, though it is a little slow at first (I think I mentioned this before) and picks up once Fate appears. Season two is my favorite.

Full Metal Panic is pretty awesome. It does a really good job of both mecha action and comedy without being a huge mess. It's a fun show.

I've never seen Terra e so I can't make your decision harder for you on that front!
