Oh, Nena... Saji might still be my absolute favorite character of all times, but Nena's was definitely the best part of this episode.

I've fully prepared myself to see Anew stuffed in the fridge next episode... so at last Lyle will truly have a reason to want to defeat the Innovators. I mean, since the never bothered to do more with his connection to Katharon, he needs a better "motivation". Blah.

I don't know if they'll go that far, since the ED treats her like a permanent love interest for him. But yeah. It's really disappointing that they decided to go the Generic Love Interest route rather than actually do something interesting with Katharon.

I was just happy that Saji finally grew enough of a backbone to tell Soma she needs to stop focusing on revenge. Considering he wasn't even able to talk to her before, that's a big improvement. Especially since Allelujah is not helping at all.

I'm sort of hoping Wang Liu survives. My guess is she'll be horribly scarred, losing the beauty she was so proud of, and her brother is either dead or completely cripped. She needs a blow to the ego and to be brought back to reality.
I did love Nena giggling madly for a solid minute as she just fired over and over again. I wonder if Throne Drei got any upgrades since season 1...

I would actually much rather see Saji chew Allelujah out about that than Lyle; here's hoping he does something like that.

I don't really care whether Liu Mei survives, but if she does, I do hope they use the chance to give her an actual personality.

I doubt we'll get flashbacks, but if you're lucky, there will be novels/side-story manga later. That's generally how S2 has rolled so far. Pretty much all the information about how Lyle related to his brother has been confined to the novels, for example, because...hey, who needs to show his personality in the series itself when he can just be a handy Lockon replacement?
