Five minutes into this anime, and I can tell it's just pure concentrated cheesy heroic fantasy, but with more ass-kicking women. My adolescence! But with more ass-kicking women! And possibly more lesbian subtext, if what I've heard is right ( Read more... )

Well how did I know this would be your kind of show.

I dunno, it's short, but as of episode 5 I feel like it doesn't really need to be longer--they gave us six episodes of ass-kicking, hot bounty-hunter-as-princess/princess-as-meido love, and a bunch of fantasy cliches tossed in a blender with wacky anime designs. I couldn't really ask for more.

... *scribbles down the name* Must. Have. This.

Besides, I've watched Repo! 15 times now, I think I should take a break. Maybe not, though. :)

Someday I'll watch Repo! but for now I have so much anime to watch. Most of it downloaded primarily because I heard rumors of lesbian subtext. ;)

I've been meaning to watch this, but I don't know. It's a shounen about lesbians and those usually don't turn very good to me, mostly because it's aimed to males and it's just fanservice.

There's not that much fanservice, actually. There's one bath scene, one scene of the heroine sleeping naked but covered with a blanket, and other than that it's mostly a delicate balance between the heroine kicking ass and she and The Chick giving each other soulful looks.

And there is a remarkable lack of Gainaxing.

Edit: Unless you meant Kannazuki no Miko, which, yeah, I'd imagine does have a lot of fanservice.
