Kyou/Tohru is really the only thing I ship right now, and for the moment I just think they've had a couple of really cute scenes? I do know who ends up with whom, though, and that there's a lot of last-minute het after all the flaming gay. (I can see Hatsuharu with a girl. He's bi enough. But if Ayame winds up with a woman...um.)
I'm really happy to know that Tohru's friends get more stuff later; a lot of characters like them get progressively less and less important to the story as the superpowered special people are introduced. Looking at you, Bleach.
Dude, Fruits Basket is the best shoujo ever. Never feel guilty for liking it! Amazing supporting cast, extreme fluff, and sweet, sweet angst. It's so cute it rots my teeth, and I remember it making me cry a couple times when I was like fourteen (shush, I'm weak).
Uo and Hana are so freaking awesome. I love when shoujo heroines actually have female friends, instead of a manharem and maybe a stock rival-in-love-who-was-converted-to-the-side-of-good.
I enjoyed Fruits Basket quite a lot... in spite of being completely and totally ambivalent with regards to either Kyou/Tohru or Yuki/Tohru. It is adorable feel-good mind candy. Which makes me cry a lot towards the end of the series. Somehow this did not dampen the feelgoodness at all, though.
Also, Hanajima and Uotani are indeed awesome, and never stop being so.

Uotani and Hanajima are the biggest badasses in the series, for serious. I love them.
