I was saying to myself after the casting, how come it didn't bother me that a white guy played Ghandi? Maybe acting does matter? He just did it so well.
But I just looked up Ben Kingsley. Apparently he IS of Indian descent.
But I didn't know that.
So I guess I am okay with white people playing non-white people if they just so happen to be really fucking awesome at it.
All that said, it's impossible to even defend this cast based on "These were the best actors" because holy shit Jesse McCartney are you fucking serious.
