Most of Avatar's character designs look pretty dumb to me! But, well, it has Iroh. So it can't be as bad as it looks sometimes.
I think you'd like Claymore, despite the somewhat shoddy plot and mediocre art. I suspect that the whole reason it's not popular is it has too many female characters for most fangirls' tastes and focuses on them too much instead of the few males. And let's face it, I can forgive a lot of plot messups for the sake of hot half-demon chicks swinging huge swords.
And you're not supposed to encourage me to go so long without posting!
I like Nine/Rose okay, but I mostly like the CANON THREESOME WTF WTF I LOVE JACK SO MUCH. XD I think I could have done with more reason why an ancient, fucked-in-the-head-from-a-really-nasty-war Timelord would fall so hard for a cute, spunky, but basically normal human girl. But then Jack got there, and they were so glorious as a team that I could totally buy that they were all stupidly, happily, secretly (or so they thought; it was obvious to everyone else) in love. XD
But I have the first volume of Dogs lying around on my USB drive from downloading it years back, so I'll check that out soon. ♥
And yeah, I know Inuyasha's long, but I caught a couple dubbed episodes of it on demand and found it fun brain candy; I wouldn't mind watching it to relax from more demanding canons.
Inuyasha is pretty fun. I got turned off on it some once I heard how the anime ended (i.e., it didn't), but I still like the characters. Sango's still my favorite.
Well, gosh, if I'd known you were intending to read the Legion of Superheroes comics, I'd have burned the cartoon for you when I was putting stuff in that box I sent.
It is cute. But it doesn't have Magno in it, so is automatically inferior to the comics.
