So, I've decided to take another shot at doing the contest on ichi_ruki.

I've actually never written IchiRuki before. Or Ichigo/anybody, for that matter. I think I did one sorta-kinda-IchiHime not-even-a-drabble. That's it. He's that asexual. I have to put him into an AU or through some trauma to make him have sex. XD

To be honest, I don't think I'd read the first one from many people, because it'd be tricky to handle if you didn't keep in mind the importance, at the very least, ichihime.

Yeah, one of the things I'd want to show with that fic is that although Ichigo and Rukia draw strength from each other and become inseparable in their isolation, turning what would have destroyed other people into something that makes them stronger--but they pay a heavy price in terms of the other relationships they give up.

I probably won't write that for the contest, since it'd be Too Weird to get votes, but I really do want to write it sometime. XD

But then again, maybe I will write it for the contest, because at least that way I wouldn't have to make the members of ichi_ruki unhappy with my fic by talking about Renji and Orihime a lot, as I would have to do in anything set in the actual Bleachverse. XD

I can't really mix these three ideas. XD But I'm leaning towards B at the moment if only because it would be so fun to write. It would probably be too cracky and have not enough sobbing flowery angst for ichi_ruki, but...I really want to write it. XD
