Finished rereading and catching up on D.Gray-man. Let me tell you, the scan quality has been pretty shitty throughout, and the translation goes through some real rough patches. It doesn't help that Hoshino isn't that great at writing readable fight scenes. Or at maintaining continuity outside of them, for that matter. ( Snip for 69th night spoilers. )

I sure hope she finish it soon, that way she can have a fresh start with a new manga that will make some sense and not suck (like dgrayman) the she also get some time over to practise fightscenes and overall scene pacing becase it really is hard to following what the crap is going on.

Ah...I'm sorry I am just so upset over that beautiful art being wasted on that sad excuse for a series D':

I'm loving the characters, I admit, but the fight scenes are ridiculously hard to follow. I never have an easy time of following fight scenes anyway, so my default mode is skip through and ask someone for a summary later.

Bah, if she's a true mangaka she'll just make carbon copies of the old characters but with new hairstules for her next series.

i stopped following dgure a while ago, and i'm so, so disappointed by the fact that i no longer enjoy it more than i'm unhappy with particular aspects of the manga. (not that i couldn't list lots of them that suck.)

she might as well shoot the horse at this point; it has two broken legs.

._. ... ...remember how good it was for the first couple arcs? .__.

It's still squicky! It's still squicky! But now I have ideas for it.

(D.Gray-man has always had issues with pacing and fight scenes. That hasn't really changed--I think some people have just decided that at this point, the flaws outweigh the good points for them. For me, the good points still outweigh the flaws.)
