acknowledged as an irredeemably arrogant attitude in The World Of Fandom. It's fandom. Are you really going to listen? Although it's never a bad idea to have one, for long fics, to talk things over with. I should get one. Typos kill me.
it's just that nobody ever seems to bother telling me how I can improve it. It's just that I don't usually have anything to say. You write Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura loads better then me and I think your Sasuke tends to be dead on. About the only thing I can say is that you may use adverbs a bit too much when your characters speak. But it's not a big deal and it's not enough to bug me or to distract me from the flow of the story.
It's fandom. Are you really going to listen? This is a good point.
I really could use a beta for my longer fics, though, especially "Spiral Out," to make sure that I don't trip and fall on my own convoluted continuity.
I never considered betas mandatory... I mean, I guess it's typically considered the "best" thing to do, since it minimizes mistakes, but it's really the choice of the writer. There are plenty of people who go without them and do just fine.
I've beta-ed once, but I'll only offer if you're sure you want one, and no one else offers.
I literally check spelling and grammar for a living. Just the same, I often miss errors in my own writing, and I generally feel pretty damn stupid when I find it later on.
I'd recommend getting a beta. Hell, I'll volunteer XD
I have three, actually, though one's very lax and the other two are slow. For drabbles and so on? No need, really. But for bigger work that you want respected? I'd definitely advise one.

Thanks for the critique, by the way.

I try and give you more when I read your fics.
And, finding a good beta you can trust is hard.

Just my opinion though.
