Caught something on Metaquotes and was amused -- perhaps he's more Odinlion than Jesuslion. I mean, he comes back, he wages war, he kills the enemy ... not a very Jesusthing to do. ;)

If you check up on the fundies and their hate-on for Lewis, you'll learn that Lewis was actually very respectful of pagan (esp. Greek, if I recall correctly) beliefs and incorporated pagan as well as Christian imagery into his work.
