“Gin, get your fingers out of our dessert.” Harry scolded as he was busy pouring cheese sauce over the lasagna, before putting it in the oven. He had spotted Ginny sticking her nose in that refrigerator again and he damn well knew she couldn’t leave that dessert alone.
Glancing at the clock, Harry heaved a sigh. It was nearing 6:30PM and he had just put their main dishes in the oven. Originally, he had planned only to make lasagna with chicken and spinach, but on second thought… With the Weasley family coming to dinner, you probably never had enough food available, so Harry had decided to prepare another dish. A large quiche with diced ham and aspergus. There would be ten people at dinner tonight and Harry could only hope there was enough for everyone. He reckoned there was. The kitchen seemed to have blown up, it was utter chaos.
He had had asked Ginny to set the table and apparently, she had finished her little task as she was sticking her nose into that refrigerator again. Well, not that it was a bad thing that she liked their dessert, Cassata Siciliana, but she could at least have the decency to wait until their dinner course had passed.
Harry heaved a sigh, but his attention was suddenly drawn to the front door as someone rang the bell. “Gin, could you…?” Harry pleaded, then turned to look at her. “And get your fingers out of that cake!”
