Harry pushed the door open and entered the Beedle Bar. It had been a while since he'd been here, but tonight he just didn't have the need to sit at home and do nothing. Striking up conversation was not really his main goal, but just having people around would be more than enough for the time being ( ... )

Alicia recognised the voice that reached her from the left. It made her smile, as she munched down another chip, before she turned to look at him. “These chips are not ‘kinda soggy’, Harry,” she said with a grin, grabbed a chip and pushed the plate in Harry’s direction. “They’re perfectly soggy. Just the way I ordered them.”

When it came to Harry, it just tied in with the thoughts she’d been having the past week, since it was basically what he had done, had shown them, and passed on to them through the DA at school, that had resulted in most of the choices she had made after school. The choices that had landed her here right now. It made sense that he would be the one to sit down next to her at this moment.

“How goes, Potter?” she asked and held up her tumbler of apple juice to toast him, before she sipped from it.

Harry shook his head, declining the offered chips. "Kinda soggy or perfectly soggy,I think I'll pass. But thanks."

It had been a while since he'd seen Alicia. Well, seen might not have been the right word, since he'd seen her just last week at the festival. But he hadn't talked to her in a while, not since the first DA meeting in fact.

At her question, he shrugged and lifted his ale in a response to her toast. Of course there were certain things on his mind, but he had no will to burden her with personal issues. He doubted she would be able to give him the answers he needed. He took a long drink from his ale, before setting the glass back of on the counter? "Same old. You?" He finally replied.

Alicia beamed, just slightly, then shrugged. “Same old, same old,” she chuckled, and looked at him before she shook her head. “Been busy, got my shop up and running and took on a couple of partners, so there’s been enough.” Not to mention getting engaged and knocked up, her mind added, but that wasn’t important in this setting. Not right now, at least, that could always come later.

For a moment she chewed on her lip, considering whether or not she could ask him what was on her mind right now. “Harry…” she said hesitantly, “any news on the uhm… that front? I mean, we haven’t heard anything since that meeting.”
