Date: May 4th 2003 Characters: Su Li and Regulus Black Location: around Annwn Status: Open Summary: Su is looking for a permanent place in Annwn. Complete: Incomplete.
Regulus was just walking, absorbed in his thoughts. He'd set out on some sort of purpose, but he couldn't honestly remember what it was. The events of the last few weeks were consuming his thoughts. Parvati had been kidnapped and raped, Penelope had been angry at him because of a completely insane scheme that his mother had dreamed up. And then there had been the maze, which was too crazy for words.
He was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't even realize there was a figure approaching him when he rounded the street corner. Part of it could be blamed on the fact that it was dark, but it was mostly the fact that he was distracted. The second his shoulder collided with the person and he understood what had happened, he was already apologizing. "Sorry, sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going..."
Su was a little shocked by someone's shoulder hitting hers, but she only took a giant step forward. She didn't even stumble. Well, that was new. This was the most weak collision she had had since coming here. She smiled.
Turning to the person that had bumped her, or perhaps she bumped, the closer to the square she got the busier it seemed to be. "Excuse me," she said politely. "I guess neither of us was really watching." She looked around herself. Tilting her head to the side, she tried to figure out if she knew the person. Was he from Hogwarts? No. The ministry? No. Somewhere in London? No. Good. It was safe to assume she didn't know him. Not that knowing someone was a big deal. She had known Greg, and really, all she wanted to do was go to his shop and bug him. But she didn't.
"I'm house hunting, not building anything," she muttered, only half under breath.
"No, it would seem we aren't," Regulus said sheepishly, all of his normal inroverted ways rushing back to him. He'd just rammed into a girl on the street because he'd been too distracted. Damn, but he did know how to make a good impression didn't he?
"Pardon?" he asked when she muttered, unsure if she was speaking to him or not. Regulus didn't want to seem rude and not answer her if she'd meant to tell him something. On the other hand, she may have just been remarking something to herself. Hmm...
Su make an embarrassed face. "Sorry. I was just saying how I was going house hunting." And not building anything therefore no need to go to Greg's shop. She shrugged.
"I don't think it really matters. Us not paying attention. I seem to run into someone on the street regularly," she said with a laugh. Still smiling she stuck out her hand. "Su Li."
